UNAWARE

Cement
A cemented wall
Paint
A painted wall
Before the wall I stood
A picture
The picture
I stood before the picture
It was “The Picture”
Looking at the picture
Just me
Watching
Admiring
Appreciating
The picture before me
On the wall it was
In the hall
The hall of memories
I stood
I watched
I admired
Outside the window
It rained
Outside the building
A downpour
A stranger watched
Ignorant me
But he watched
Kind eyes
Stalking me
A stalker he was
Motives hidden
Hidden behind kind eyes
But I was unaware
Up in the sky
The plane flew
High…up
High…above
Unaware of the drama below
Turbulence and motion
Flying by unaware
The pilot so unaware
The stranger still present
Inside the plane
Discomfort and fear
Passengers so vigilant
Open-eyed
Turbulence! Turbulence!
Me before the picture
Me unaware
But he was aware
He is always aware
The one that sees us all
He sees each event
Every act
He is aware of our motives
Each thought
Each wish
Aware
So aware he is
He is aware
But we are unaware
So so unaware!
