She was
misunderstood
She was highly rated
Living a life of
fame and glam
Living a life on “Lane-fabulous”
They expected so
much from her
They all saw her as
a gem
A stone too precious
to be kept in a museum
A jewel on the move
Valued celeb
Gifted hands
Double-crowned royalty
But her life was not
what she wanted
She was just too
overrated
She was young
But her youth was
slipping away from her
The price was fame
And the buyer...the public
She was having
regrets
Freedom was so far
from her
Wealth was her tenant
Vanity was her
lifestyle
Love was in the
theater
Every speech was
rehearsed
Every date was
screened
Every occasion was glam-rated
It was getting too
artificial for her
Her life was
becoming an illusion
She was sniffing too
much of the luxury hills
She was getting too
intoxicated with this life
She used to be an
innocent damsel from a humble home
There was once a
farm
And everything had a
limit
But that was “Once upon a time”
Once in her birth
town
Now she was choking in
the city
Bright lights were
blinding her
She was sick of it
all
She knew it was time
It was her only
chance
And she took it!
